The vertical agitated reactor is a 3 in 1 multifunctional mixing reactor integrating the functions of filtering, washing and drying. It can replace the filtering equipment and drying equipment such as suction filter, press filter, double cone dryer, drying box, etc. In this agitation system, processes from filtering to washing and drying through to discharging can be completed at a stroke.
The agitated reactor is widely applied in pharmaceutical, chemical, agrochemical and food industries. It is a best choice for filtering and drying applications. With a capability to realize fully enclosed and continuous production, the chemical reactor is suitable for aseptic production and nocuous production.
1. Filtering Stage:
Separate the filter cake from the mother solution. The thickness of filter cake can reach 500mm.
2. Washing Stage:
Further purify the filter cake, wash off residual mother solution and conduct dehydration. By means of lifting and lowering the mixer, it can mix the filter cake and washing liquid layer by layer. Then filter cake in turbid liquid will be washed sufficiently.
3. Drying Stage:
As the filter cake is loosened by the stirrer, it is also heated from the side wall of the agitated reactor, the bottom of filter plate and the agitating blade. Moisture in the filter cake will be promptly evaporated. The vacuum condition inside the equipment will accelerate evaporation. In addition, heated nitrogen can bring away the evaporated moisture, thus speeding up drying and improving drying effect.
4. Discharging Stage:
Depending on the inversing rotation of agitating blade, the dried products can be discharged from the side outlet where they can be directly packaged.
